I offer over 20 years of experience as a Healthcare Practitioner in Hospitals and Mental Health Professional in High Schools, groups for stress-related disorders for adults, as well as being a Combat Infantryman.
My approach
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or trauma related to their relationships, family, or individual experiences from their past. During our initial session, we will delve deeply into the chief symptoms, a background of your history, and then work collaboratively with you to formulate treatment goals in your next session.
My focus
My practice specifically focuses on Trauma and Stress-Related Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Depressive Disorders. With whatever your issue(s) may be and with you in focus, we can build your specific plan and give you the proper tools necessary to navigate your daily lifestyle in the manner of your choosing.
My communication style
If you allow me the privileged opportunity to work with you, I can attest to my commitment to your needs, for within the first week, you will not feel as if you are alone in this vast world. I provide a safe environment, and you will feel as if someone is actually listening and caring, while being professionally receptive and non-judgmental.
My journey to mental healthcare
I first began my journey as a Combat Infantryman in the Marines from 1995-2004. After my Honorable Discharge, I became a Registered Respiratory Therapist and served my community, providing healthcare to patients in the ICU, ER, and floors. I then moved on to graduate school and became an LMFT and provide quality Mental Health treatment to my clients.
My goals for you
Whatever your issue(s) may be and with you in focus, we formulate a therapeutic alliance while working collaboratively on prioritizing your goals, building your specific plan, and then sessions revolve around processing and development of that plan. Inherently, you create the proper tools to navigate your life in the manner of your choosing.
My first session with you
During our initial session, we will delve deeply into the chief symptoms, a background of your history, and then work collaboratively with you to formulate treatment goals in your next session. Most clients will see improvements in a few weeks.
