I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a specialization in anxiety, geek culture, giftedness, MBTI, climate grief and existential anxiety, trauma, and addictions. My main theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-dynamics, and Interpersonal Therapy. I regularly utilize concrete skills-building techniques for emotional coping, such as Mindfulness, social skills, and self-regulation.
I currently provide individual and couples counseling in-person and via teletherapy. I also conduct psychological evaluations for various referral purposes, including worker’s compensation, learning disabilities, determining giftedness, etc.
I have worked in various treatment settings in the past, including college counseling centers, trauma clinics, substance abuse treatment centers, and private psychological testing offices. I provide primary and delegated supervision for psychological interns of various levels, as well as conduct training seminars and development workshops for both professionals and clients.
I strive to provide my clients with a safe, accepting environment from which they can explore their difficulties, strengths, and identities. I work collaboratively with my clients to figure out their goals, strategies to change their unhelpful patterns, and develop skills to achieve the things they want from life.
