I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in treating children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am also experienced working with adults struggling with PTSD, burnout, and difficult life transitions. Additionally, I have helped clients with gender identity issues, OCD, panic attacks, anger management, and substance abuse/ addiction. I currently provide individual therapy, family therapy, and children’s play therapy.
As a therapist, I strive to be a social justice advocate and to be aware of my own privileges and implicit biases by seeking out diversity training in anti-racism, spirituality, and LGBTQIA+ affirming practices. I see clients as the expert in their own lives while I provide them psycho-education, coping tools, and therapeutic support in a safe and healing environment.
My clinical approach to therapy comes from a trauma-informed lens, providing culturally competent care as an inclusive therapist to people of all genders, races, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, abilities, spiritual beliefs, and sexual orientations. My main theoretical approaches are Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Play Therapy, Strength-Based, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
